We had our tile and flooring appt. 1/9/16 at Rite Rug. It went rather well it took us two hours to pick everything which the sells rep said we did that pretty fast compared to some people :) Just to let you know that this was very hard to do there were so many selections etc. and not knowing how they will look ahead of time in the room(s) with the lighting that comes through the windows etc. we hope we choose the right pieces. We found out with these homes you cannot put hardwood throughout the homes only on first and second levels. Only carpet on third level. Overall a good experience. Let us know what you think :)

Here we go!

We decided to plant some roots and build a town-home. Let the fun begin.

We started the process by touring the two models they had the Mozart and the Hepburn. We fell in love with the Mozart out of the four models they had available in the particular community. Why? Out of the four models the Strauss and the Mozart have two car garages and the other two did not. It made it easy to decide quickly. The Mozart has three bedrooms one that could be made into a office and two and half bathrooms.Awesome! Right! We thought so.

We then walked the property with the agent which we highly recommend that you do for sure just to get an idea what is around you and what your street name will be.We found out after we choose a home and luckily before the 14-day appointment we found another street name was much better and cuter then the previous one. So we locked it in.

We also recommend that you get prequalified with a loan prior even though Ryan homes has their own loan people that they work through at least you will know how much you are approved for and what you can afford plus bonus you will have the paperwork researched and copied ready to present to the loan officer which, will also make getting the loan process so much faster. Which will make everyone happy in the long run.

Another tip take pictures, make copies of everything you do with the loan people as well as the real estate agents and keep everything organized in separate folders so when it is time for a specific appointment you can just grab the right folder and be on your way.
